Privacy, in plain words
This is a static website with no accounts and no forms, so there is genuinely little to disclose. Here is all of it.
What we collect directly: almost nothing
There is no login, no sign-up, no newsletter, no comment box, and no contact form. We cannot collect what we never ask for. If you email us at [email protected], we see your address and your message, we use them to reply, and that is all they are used for.
Analytics
The site uses Google Analytics 4, once configured, for standard visit statistics: which pages get read, roughly where visitors come from, what devices they use. This tells us which guides help people and which need work. Google's own privacy policy covers how GA4 processes that data. We do not sell or share visitor data with anyone.
When you click through to a tour
Booking buttons lead to GetYourGuide and Viator, where the actual booking happens. Those links carry our partner ID so the platform knows you came from us; that is the affiliate arrangement described in our disclosure. Once you are on their sites, their cookies and their privacy policies apply, not ours. Any payment or personal details you enter there go to them; none of it passes through this site.
Embedded maps and videos
Some pages embed a Google map and YouTube videos. The videos load through YouTube's reduced-tracking domain (youtube-nocookie.com), but both Google services may still set cookies of their own when the embeds load or when you interact with them.
